University of St. Joseph Announces Tenure Faculty Members
The list includes tenure track and non-tenure track professors whose work at the institution and have contributed to the learning.

From The University of Saint Joseph: The University of Saint Joseph announced its annual list of faculty members recently awarded promotions and tenure on July 7, 2017. The list includes tenure track and non-tenure track professors whose work at the institution has contributed to student learning and the overall University environment.
“The faculty at the University of Saint Joseph are the backbone of this institution,” said Michelle Kalis, Ph.D., provost. “They provide students with a dynamic and rigorous education that prepares them for success after graduation. We are proud to recognize these individuals for their hard work and dedication.”
- Vivian Carlson, Ph.D., received the status of professor emerita.
- Joseph Cheah, OSM, Ph.D., was promoted to professor of Religious Studies and Theology.
- Ola Ghoneim, M.Sc., Ph.D., was promoted to associate professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and received tenure.
- Barbara Hartigan, Ed.D., was promoted to associate professor of Education and received tenure.
- Kim Joerg, DNP, MSN, PNP-BC, was promoted to associate professor.
- Kirsten Martin, Ph.D., was promoted to associate professor of Biology and received tenure.
- Maria Summa, Pharm.D., R.Ph., BCPS, associate professor of Pharmacy Practice and Administration, received tenure.
- Mark Sweezy, Ph.D., was promoted to associate professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and received tenure.
- Doreen Szollosi, Ph.D., was promoted to associate professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and received tenure.
- Nora Zinan, DNP, MSPH, RN, was promoted to associate professor of Nursing and received tenure.
