Warby Parker To Officially Open Westfarms Store On Weekend

Warby Parker is set to expand its presence in Connecticut this weekend with an artsy twist.

WEST HARTFORD/FARMINGTON, CT — Fashion optical retailer Warby Parker is set to open at the Westfarms mall this weekend.

Warby Parker, a fast-growing eyewear brand. Westfarms officials described Warby Parker as, "a transformative fashion brand that offers vintage-inspired eyewear with a fashion-forward twist." The store will be located on the upper level in center court and open "in the new year," mall officials said.

The Saturday opening marks the first store opening of 2021 for Warby Parker and its third location in Connecticut.

The store will carry full optical and sun eyewear offerings (including Warby Parker's latest launch of the Spring Collection which come in a range of lens types, from blue light filtering, progressives, and light-responsive frames, along with our brand of daily contact lenses (Scout by Warby Parker) as well as a wide range of daily, bi-weekly, and monthly contact brands.

"The Westfarms store will be displaying two pieces of original artwork by Italian artist Sarah Mazzetti. Above the bench near the entrance, an illustration of a contented reader will greet customers with a friendly message: Nice to See You. Behind the marble Reference Desk, will be a large-scale mural by Mazzetti that captures a cast of glasses-clad characters — canine included," Warby Parker officials said.

"Like all of our other store locations, we've designed and implemented protocols to ensure a safe in-store experience for both customers and our team, including one-on-one guided shopping, limited capacity, contactless checkout features, and enhanced sanitation," they added.
