A website that ranks U.S. towns has put West Hartford atop its list for Connecticut.

WEST HARTFORD — West Hartford is the top plate to live in Connecticut, according to a website that ranks municipalities based on based on crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities, and local amenities.

Niche.com compiles its statistics throughout the year and in the latest set of rankings, released Monday, West Hartford was placed first.
