West Hartford Cops Searching For Driver Who Took Out Utility Pole
A car slammed into a pole in West Hartford over the weekend.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford Police Monday were still searching for the driver of a car that slammed into a utility pole Sunday.
Police said the crash took place at 4:48 a.m. along the 500 block 0f South Main Street. When officers converged on the scene, they found an unoccupied vehicle and a smashed pole that took out wires, police said.
Capt. Michael Perruccio of the West Hartford Police Department said Monday that officers are still investigating the incident and searching for the driver.

South Main Street was closed for several hours while utility crews replaced the pole, police said.
