'West Hartford Gives' Formed To Support Local Restaurants
A program called West Hartford gives is making an effort to assist local restaurants.

WEST HSARTFORD, CT — A program called West Hartford gives is making an effort to assist local restaurants.
It's a collaborative effort between the town of West Hartford and the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce.
"West Hartford restaurants need our help as they continue to face new obstacles during this challenging time," organizers said. "It is also important to show appreciation to our dedicated healthcare workers who have given so much over the course of the pandemic."

In an effort to support both, through West Hartford Gives," residents can purchase gift cards at their favorite participating food establishments and in turn them into dollars will to help sustain the restaurants.
For every $50 gift card purchased between Dec. 15, and Dec. 31, a $10 gift card will be given to a Hartford Healthcare employee in support of hos or her work.

"It's a Win-Win," organizers said.
