West Hartford Health District Hosts Free Diabetes Management Workshop
The workshop will be held over 7 weeks and will start on Sept.28 with a goal of educating participants about exercise, meals, and much more.

From West Hartford Health District: Have you been diagnosed with diabetes and don’t know what to do or what to eat? This 7-week workshop will clear up the confusion. Topics covered include: meal planning and holiday food choices, label reading, glucose monitoring and target blood glucose levels, medications, exercising safely and much more! The sessions are interactive, so bring your questions!
The workshop will take place from 10:30-12:30, September 28 (Thursday), October 5(Thursday) , October 12 (Thursday), October 17 (Tuesday), November 2 (Thursday),November 9 (Thursday) and November 16 (Thursday) at the Prosser Public Library, One Tunxis Avenue, Bloomfield. There is no class the week of October 23.
