West Hartford Police: Witness Photographs Juvenile Burglar
Suspected burglar allegedly took a leaf blower valued at $200.
The actions of yet another alert West Hartford resident led to the arrest of a suspected burglar on Sunday.
According to a police incident report prepared by Sgt. Chris Day, a witness captured on his cell phone a photo of a juvenile on a bike enter the open garage at 11 Sycamore Road and take a hand-held leaf blower.
Police brought into custody a juvenile suspect matching the description was located several blocks over the town line on Kenyon Street in Hartford.

The lead blower, valued at $200, was recovered and the juvenile was charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny.
