The West Hartford Pumpkin Carnival and Halloween Stroll gets bigger and better every year.

The 12th annual event drew more than 2,000 kids to West Hartford Center dressed as, among other things, ninjas, Spider-Man, bumble bees, Bat Man and Wonder Woman.

The hour-long Pumpkin Carnival in Hartford Town Hall parking lot was followed by a trick-or-treating excursion around Blue Back Square and the Center.
