Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Most Of CT As Ice Looms
Here is an updated, detailed timeline of snow, ice and rain which is all forecast for Thursday and Friday throughout Connecticut.

CONNECTICUT — A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the entire state except the immediate coast as ice may lead to a troublesome commute Thursday morning. No snow is expected in southern Connecticut but ice may be an issue in interior sections.
Some light snow accumulation is possible in Hartford, Tolland, Windham, and Litchfield county where an inch of snow is possible but the main concern will be sleet and freezing rain during Thursday's morning commute.
Any mixed precipitation on the coast, should be plain rain before the morning commute. In inland and northern sections of the state, the sleet and freezing rain is expected to turn to plain rain by 10 a.m.

Fox 61 Chief Meteorologist Rachel Frank offers us hope that the commute may not be too bad.
On her social media page she writes, "We are still anticipating some icy spots heading into Thursday morning. But precipitation looks fairly light for the morning commute with areas of light rain and freezing rain. Untreated surfaces are the biggest concern."
