Savin Rock Plaza Sold In West Haven

The neighborhood shopping center has been sold to an investor, realtors announced.

WEST HAVEN, CT — Savin Rock Plaza in West Haven has been sold for $3 million, realtors announced.

An investor recently purchased the 67,722-square foot property at 200-250 Captain Thomas Boulevard in West Haven, according to O,R&L Commercial, LLC.

The Savin Rock Plaza is a neighborhood shopping center with a mix of local and national retail tenants. It is surrounded by multiple condominium complexes and is adjacent to the Savin Rock boardwalk that stretches along 2 miles of West Haven’s public beach.

“The ‘Savin Rock’ area is a shoreline destination rich with history — as an amusement park in the early 1900s to 1930s it was referred to as ‘CT’s Coney Island,’” officials wrote in a news release. “Today, the Savin Rock area and its proximity to the shoreline and boardwalk make it a magnet for West Haven’s community and surrounding towns.”

Phil Marshall of O,R&L Commercial represented the buyer, DeLaurentis Management Corporation in the sale.

O,R&L Commercial, LLC with offices in Branford and Rocky Hill represents landlords, tenants, sellers and buyers in the office, retail, medical, multi-family, investment and industrial markets.
