Dundee, a four-month-old black lab without a tail, possibly wearing a blue collar, jumped out of his pen at the Lumberyard Pub in Redding Sunday. Its owner, Companion Pet Rescue, a dog rescue organization out of Tennessee with a local chapter in Southbury, was hosting a meet and greet event at the pub.
On Monday, Dundee was still missing.
"He's very timid and doesn't know his name," Susan Kaster told Patch in a Facebook post. "He was last seen at 3 p.m. on Highland Avenue in Redding. If people local to that area could check their property, sheds, garages and anywhere a frightened puppy might hide, it would be greatly appreciated."
Any sightings can be reported to Nikki Cassano at 734-645-1300.
