BAC of Redding Man Charged with DUI Three Times Legal Limit

Redding Police made the DUI arrest last weekend.

 

Constantine Poulos, 48, of Wood Road, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to drive right after police observed him operating erratically on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 1:56 a.m.

According to police, officers observed Poulos heading north on Lonetown Road and after stopping him, observed he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. He failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.

According to police, Poulos’ BAC was nearly three times higher than the legal limit.

He was released on $30 bond and given an Oct. 10 court date.

On Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 6:16 p.m. Redding Police responded to a report of vandalism at Huntington State Park. A window had been smashed on a vehicle parked there.

Since it happened on state property, Redding Police stood by for an hour before DEEP Police arrived.
