EASTON — A local woman reported seeing a black bear crossing the street on Route 59, near North Park Avenue, at 9:34 a.m. on July 16 before running into the woods.
Police filled out a black bear sighting form for the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection to document the incident.
