Correction on SOT/SOS Flyer

To the Editor,

As you may know, a recent flyer that went to every home in Easton was, through an error at the printer, mistakenly sent with Citizens for Responsible Government (CRG - www.EastonEye.com) as the return address, giving the impression that CRG created the flyer. The flyer was created, published, and paid for by Save Our Town/Save Our Schools (SOT/SOS - www.saveourct.com)as was indicated on the back. CRG was not involved in sending this flyer. On the other hand, as you might surmise, we support the message in the flyer and believe that Eastonites owe a debt of gratitude to citizens who work to inform the public.

We thank the officers of SOT/SOS, Dana Benson and Kathy Kuhn, for clarifying this mistake at the May 20 Board of Selectmen meeting, as well as on social media and in the press.
