Crazy Rain Forecast for Weston Today, Wednesday
Here's the latest timeline of the soaking rain and how much we should see. A big storm is also possible next week.

WESTON, CT — WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons says the rain Connecticut will experience Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon can best be described as “crazy rain.” For us in Connecticut, who are in the midst of a severe drought, we’ll gladly take some “crazy rain.”
According to updated forecasts, we can see two to three inches of rain by the time the precipitation stops late Wednesday. This will be all rain, no snow, over the next two days. But, could a storm be forming early next week that could give us some snow and rain, NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan says that is possible. More on that later.
Meteorologist Gil Simmons wrote on Facebook, “Crazy rain expected for the middle of the day today and the afternoon! It will do the same exact thing for tomorrow! Dry weather Thursday – Sunday!” And what about a big storm early next week, Hanrahan on his Facebook page, writes that we “don’t know,” but it’s possible.

Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan wrote “Sometimes the best thing you can do is to say, "I don't know" - and that's the forecast for next Monday! Our GFS and European computer models are on different planets - the latter with a big storm and the former with a partly sunny day! We'll know in a day or two but for now it's in the "who the hell knows" category.”
A look at the National Weather Forecast for Monday shows the chance of snow in northern Connecticut and rain in southern Connecticut. But as Hanrahan wrote more will be known in a couple of days.
