An impending snowstorm led to Supt. Bernard A. Josefsberg's decision to dismiss schools in the Easton, Redding, Region 9 School District early Tuesday. Weston Public Schools were already closed for a professional development day.
It should also be noted that Joel Barlow High School was scheduled for an early dismissal due to midyear exams.
Early dismissal times are:
- Joel Barlow High School - Noon
- Helen Keller Middle School - 12:40 p.m.
- Samuel Staples Elementary School - 1:25 p.m.
- Redding Elementary School - 12:45 p.m.
- John Read Middle School - 1:35 p.m.
