Easton Police Department Donates Care Packages for Sick Children in Hospitals

EASTON, CT — The Easton Police Department celebrated World Kindness Day by assisting Easton Connects with Kindness to help package donated items that will be care packages for the children in Bridgeport Hospital’s Pediatric Unit and Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital.

Police said the children are at the hospital for burns, cancer and broken legs and they can be confined to their beds. In the photo, Easton Detective Kent Lyman, and Officers Tamra French and JT Solazzo, volunteered time with many others, to spread kindness to these children.
