Expect Delays: Route 58 Scheduled to be Resurfaced
The work will be done on overnights and evenings, beginning Sunday.

REDDING, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a resurfacing project will be performed on Route 58 in Redding, beginning Sun., Oct. 7, 2018.
The project consists of resurfacing a 2.02 mile segment of Route 58 in Redding. This project is scheduled to occur from 7:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Sun, Oct. 7, 2018 to the morning of Thur., Oct. .11.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 58 between the Easton town line and South Lane. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
