WESTON — Three mailbox vandalisms were reported on Godfrey Road West earlier this month. Two were reported just before 1 a.m. on Sept. 5 and another was reported late that afternoon.
At around 12:44 a.m., a woman told police her husband heard a noise and ran outside where he saw a vehicle speeding away from his driveway, according to the report. The mailbox was damaged and police said the resident could not give a description of the vehicle.
Then at 12:55 a.m., another neighborhood woman told police her husband was chasing kids who ripped their mailbox and post out of the ground. Police said the resident did not see the vehicle the vandals sped off in.
