Goodwill 'Give Back' Program To Benefit CT's Restaurant Industry
Donations made at Goodwill of Western and Northern CT's locations will support employment recovery in the state's restaurant industry.
CONNECTICUT – Beginning this week and continuing throughout April, all donations made at Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut's retail stores and donation centers will support employment recovery in the state's restaurant industry.
For every 5,000 donation instances, the nonprofit will donate $1,000 to the Connecticut Restaurant Relief Fund. The mission of the Fund is to provide immediate financial relief to Connecticut’s restaurant industry. To date, the CT Restaurant Relief Fund has distributed nearly 100 grants to restaurants in 57 different towns across Connecticut.
Funds from the Connecticut Restaurant Relief Fund are distributed to restaurants still in operation in the form of grants. The grants are to be used to help those businesses keep their doors open and workers employed.
