Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Weston, Redding and Easton

We are looking at some murky weather conditions this week. Here's a look at your hyperlocal forecast.

WESTON, CT — Another round of nasty weather is set to strike our area, and the National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook. All of southern Connecticut is under a Hazardous Weather Outlook, which calls for threats of flash flooding and a possible, albeit low, chance of damaging winds.

Here is a look at Weston, Redding and Easton's forecast for the next few days, according to the NWS:

Today
Showers likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. High near 72. South wind around 18 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Tonight
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Low around 63. South wind 5 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Wednesday
A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. Northeast wind 5 to 8 mph becoming southwest in the morning.

A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46. South wind around 6 mph becoming northwest after midnight.
