Hurricane Isaias Update In Weston

There is an extensive amount of damage to the utility infrastructure and this will be a multiple day recovery.

August 5, 2020

Unfortunately, Isaias has hit us much harder than was anticipated. At this time we have nearly 100 blockages due to damage. There is an extensive amount of damage to the utility infrastructure and this will be a multiple day recovery. Currently, 92% of Weston is without power. We are in the process of conducting a preliminary damage assessment and will update accordingly. For reference I have included a list of blockages for you to view. Please note that this list is not 100% complete and is updated continuously. The EOC is open and functional and will remain so for the duration of the storm response. I have been in contact with our Eversource liaison multiple times and will continue to communicate with them directly. Please do not call 911 to report power outages as we are inundated with emergency calls and responding accordingly. We hope you are all safe and appreciate your patience and cooperation.
