Jane T. Butler, 59, of Easton, Passed Away

EASTON, CT — Jane T. Butler, age 59, of Easton, CT, beloved wife of Dr. Donald Butler, passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. Born in Bethlehem, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Genevieve Shimko.

Jane graduated from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. She was a member of the Easton Nurses Association and a certified Master Gardener. In her free time Jane was an avid tennis player.

Survivors include daughter, Michelle Butler of Los Angeles, CA and son Gordon Butler of New York, NY as well as her twin sister Joan Mitchell (Dale) of Orange, OH.

There will be no calling hours. A private celebration of Jane's life will be held.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association.
