Police apprehended a juvenile accused of larceny after a high-speed chase on Thursday.
EASTON, CT — Police apprehended a juvenile accused of larceny after a high-speed chase on Thursday.
At around 6:00 in the morning the Easton Police Department received a call from a Bayberry Lane resident reporting that the vehicles in his driveway had been entered. The person who had entered the cars was still in the neighborhood, according to the resident, who pursued the person for a short distance.
An Easton police officer observed the vehicle traveling south on Route 59. The officer attempted to follow the vehicle as it entered onto the Merritt Parkway heading north, but gave up the chase as the vehicle was moving at a high rate of speed, according to police.
