Obituary: Carmen Massimino, 83, Of Easton
Carmen had a passion for old cars and appreciated fine cuisine. He lived life to the fullest and built many lasting friendships.

EASTON, CT — Carmen Massimino, age 83, of Easton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Piccirillo) Massimino. Born in Bridgeport on February 18, 1938 he was a son of the late Frank A. and Emanuelena (Marella) Massimino. A graduate of Warren Harding High School in 1956, he later served honorably in the National Guard for 6 years. Mr. Massimino was a self-made man in every sense of the word. He began his career in the automotive industry as a salesman before working his way up to being the owner of several local car dealerships. He also was the owner and operator of Havasu Palms in Lake Havasu, California. Carmen had a passion for old cars and appreciated fine cuisine. He lived life to the fullest and built many lasting friendships along the way. A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend of many, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his beloved wife Patricia of 53 years, survivors are his children, Michael Massimino and Dina Vogt and her partner Robert Nicola, both of Easton, his cherished grandchildren, Abigail and Cassandra Vogt, his brother, Frank H. Massimino and his wife Ornella of Bridgeport, his sister-in-law, Roberta Cioppa of Fairfield, his niece, Loren Slater and her husband Robert of Haddonfield, NJ and their children Lena and Paige, as well as several additional nieces, nephews, cherished pets and close friends.

A walk through visitation will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Guests are asked to wear face masks and socially distance as they enter the building, pay their respects and then exit the building in order to allow others the same opportunity. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull.
