Obituary: Christopher Brian Hurlbut, 47, Of Redding
Chris lived all of his life in Redding after moving there at the age of six.

REDDING, CT — Christopher Brian Hurlbut, 47 years old, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 6, 2021. He was born in Atlanta, GA on November 18, 1973 to Frederick and Claudia Hurlbut.
Chris lived all of his life in Redding after moving there at the age of six. Chris graduated from Joel Barlow High School in 1992 and attended the University of Hartford.

Chris was a talented athlete who played ice hockey, football, soccer, and baseball at the Varsity level throughout high school. As an adult, he continued to pursue his love of sports with skiing, snowboarding, softball, baseball, and golf. Chris was also an integral partner in his family business, Professional Water Systems, based in Ridgefield.
Chris married Yanawan Saguansataya of Woodbury, in 2002 and they just celebrated their 19th year of marriage in March.

Chris is survived by his wife, his son, Sebastian Miles, his daughter, Tegan Noelle, his brother, Andrew of Fairfield, his mother Claudia of West Palm Beach, FL, his grandmother Joan Wragg of New Fairfield, and his nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm at the Bouton Funeral Home in Georgetown, CT. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held outdoors at the West Redding Fire Pavilion on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Christopher Hurlbut Family Memorial Fund, https://gofund.me/a64791d5 or a memorial contribution to The Boys & Girls Club of Redding-Easton (P.O.
