Redding Announces A Month's Worth Of Road Work

REDDING, CT — The Redding Highway Department has announced road work beginning Monday that it estimates should take approximately a month to complete.

The following roads will be worked on: Stepney Road, North Park Avenue, Sport Hill Road, Rock House Road, Marchant Road, Hopewell Woods Road and Great Pasture Road.

Work on Stepney Road and North Park Avenue will begin on August 24 and Marchant Road and Hopewell Woods Road on August 26.

There will be sporadic road closures and detours. Residents are advised to take alternate routes when possible.

The schedule is subject to change.
