Redding Artist Competes To Be 'LEGO Master'
Redding artist Jessica "RAGZY X" Ewud and 17 other plastic brick building experts are featured on a new Fox TV series.
REDDING, CT — A Redding woman was among the 18 contestants vying to be named a LEGO Master on national TV Wednesday night.
Artist Jessica Ragzy Ewud, 29, and teammates squared off against another squad of colored brick building experts in the premiere episode of "LEGO Masters" on Fox broadcast stations at 9 p.m.
Ewud, whose professional name is RAGZY X, is no stranger to the party-colored plastic blocks. Her "LEGO Lincoln," made with over 4,000 bricks, was displayed in Rockefeller Center. Her work, which leans heavily on LEGO pieces but includes a variety of media within a theme she describes as "pop science," has been exhibited regularly throughout southwest Connecticut and New York.
