​Redding Highway Department Schedules Road Work

REDDING, CT — As part of the town's ongoing road rehabilitation effort, the Highway Department will be performing roadwork on the following roads the week of July 13, weather permitting:

• Newtown Turnpike from Cross Highway to Route 53
• Umpawaug Road from Route 107 to Topstone Road
• Pine Mountain Road.

Residents can expect delays and detours and are urged to take alternate routes.

Center lines will be repainted sometime later this summer as part of the regular maintenance schedule.
