Redding PD Seeks Public's Aid After Trump Banner Burned
A young man was caught on video on Pine Tree Road burning a campaign banner for Donald Trump and Mike Pence.
REDDING, CT — Police are seeking the public's assistance investigating the burning of a political banner Thursday.
The campaign banner, promoting former President Donald Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence, was hanging in front of a home on Pine Tree Road near Route 58 when a young man set it on fire.
The banner owners caught the man on video and turned the footage over to the Redding Police Department.

The video shows the man using a long stick or pole with a flame on one end to ignite the flag. Flaming pieces of the banner drop to the ground, setting leaves on fire.
Police urged anyone with information on the man to contact Officer O'Connor at 203-938-3400.
