Redding Residents Report Two Thefts

Redding Police news, Jan. 9 through Jan. 12.

Redding Police are investigation two separate thefts that occurred in town last week.

On Jan. 10 at 10 a.m., a Meadow Ridge resident reported jewelry was missing from their apartment.

On Jan. 12 at 4:13 p.m., a Limekiln Road resident reported a generator valued at $1,800 had been stolen from their property.

On Jan. 9 at 3:36 p.m., a 62-year-old man from Brooklyn, Conn. failed to negotiate a turn on Route 53 and crashed into a bridge abutment. Joseph Renfield was issued a written warning for traveling too fast.
