A 19-year-old Redding male was caught with marijuana in Easton following a motor vehicle stop on Meadow Ridge Drive on Saturday, March 2 at 12:04 a.m.
According to police, officers stopped the suspicious vehicle and smelled the odor of burnt marijuana shortly thereafter.
The operator, Caleb Connor, of Glen Road, admitted to smoking a small amount of pot earlier that night. He then turned over a glass jar with a green leafy substance, which subsequently tested positive for marijuana.

Connor was charged with possession of under four ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a promise to appear in court March 12.
