The DOT is replacing the guardrail system.

EASTON, CT — Beginning Monday, drivers in the area of Route 59 and Church Road should expect delays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays for the next six weeks, according to Easton Police. The Connecticut Department of Transportation will be replacing the guard rail system and cutting trees along Route 59 during that time.

The police are urging drivers to find alternate routes around the area for the next month and a half.
