'Talk to Your Children About Bullying'

With back to school time upon us, a Connecticut Police Department reminded people to talk to children about bullying.

Back to school can be an exciting time for children. It can also be terrifying, especially when starting at a new school.

One of the scary situations children experience is bullying, be it at school or online. The New London Police Department shared this message on its Facebook page:

“As you prepare by getting school supplies and clothes, please also take time to talk to your children about bullying. Encourage them to be kind to others. Teach them how to handle situations if they are being bullied.
