Patch recently wrote about Brutus, a 19-month-old Staffordshire-mix, staying at the Easton Animal Shelter after he was too nice to be a watchdog, then ate another prospective owner's TV remote. The friendly dog was adopted just last Thursday, according to Animal Control Officer Kelly Fitch.
"Brutus has a new home in Redding and is doing very well," Fitch said with a smile.
