UPDATE: CT Beach Water Quality: What's Open, What's Closed

CONNECTICUT — The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has updated its water quality report for Connecticut's swimming holes.

Mashamoquet Brook State Park in Pomfret remains closed for maintenance. Rocky Neck State Park is back open for swimming.

The Department of Public Health Lab tests water samples from Connecticut beaches each week for the presence of certain indicator bacteria.
