Connor Sweeney
Position: Goalie
Class: Senior
High School: Abbott Tech (HVAC)
Home Town: New Fairfield
Height/Weight: 5’9", 180lbs
Favorite Hockey Memory: Winning State Championship 2017/18
Favorite NHL Team: Washington Capitals
Favorite Quote: “To succeed in hockey, you need teamwork.” – Henry Samueli
This Is Connor's 3rd year with the JBWA Knights. As an original player on the Knight's co-op, Connor was a key factor in Abbott Tech's participation with this program, thanks to his great Athletic Director, who was there to help Connor fulfill his high school sports aspirations. As a hockey player since 7 years old, Connor has spent most of his time in Goal. Being a Goalie came from his older brother pushing him into goal for street hockey so that he could shoot on him all the time (such brotherly love). From there, it became Connor's position as he came up through the ranks at Danbury in-house, Putnam Hockey, and the Western Jr. Colonials. During the off-season, Connor is an accomplished golfer and spends his summers out on the links in Myrtle Beach trying to maximize his skills to fulfill his future dreams in golf.
