Week 7 JBWA Players of the Week

JBWA (Joel Barlow, Weston, Abbott Tech) Hockey Booster Club Week 7 players of the week.

The JBWA team enters the playoffs tomorrow (3/20) at 3 pm vs. Newtown - New Fairfield. Each week, the JBWA hockey booster club features three of its athletes as the JBWA Players of the Week.

Ronan Duffy

Position: Left Wing
Class: Senior
High School: Weston High School
Ronan started skating in Sugar Land, Texas, when he was six years old and began playing hockey shortly after. He has played youth hockey in Connecticut with the Ridgefield Lions and the CT Barons. This is his third season with the JBWA Knights and he is honored to be Team Captain. Ronan will attend the University of Florida in the fall and plans to study aerospace engineering.

Josh Gyolai
Position: Defense
Class: Sophomore
School: Abbott Tech
Josh began to play hockey for Watertown Youth Hockey as a Squirt. He played his second year of Peewees and his first year of Bantams with the Southern Stars, later playing his second year of Bantams and his first year of Midgets with West Haven Youth Hockey. Josh goes to Abbott Tech and is in the trade of Precision Machining. Josh hopes to become a technician and stay in his trade for many years after he graduates.

Benjamin Wolff
Position: Forward
Class: Junior
School: Joel Barlow High School
Ben began playing organized hockey as a Squirt in the Danbury house league. He transferred to the Ridgefield Lions program as a Peewee, playing on the B and A level teams and eventually skating with the Bantam A team as a freshman. He enjoys team practices, spending time with friends, and all-you-can-eat sushi. Ben is excited to be an active participant of the JBWA Knights and looks forward to skating with the team in his senior year.
