West Redding Train Crash A Possible DUI: Report

Police are investigating a train crash in West Redding as a possible DUI.

REDDING, CT — Police say a train crash near the West Redding train station is being investigated as a DUI, reports the Ridgefield Press. An MTA Police spokesperson said the Dec. 5 crash is being investigated as a DUI.

The driver of the car involved was taken to Danbury Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, and nobody on board the train was injured.
