Weston School Board To Consider SRO Tonight
The Board of Education has a special meeting scheduled for tonight.
The Weston Board of Education is scheduled to meet tonight to discuss the possible implementation of a Student Resource Officer in the district.
The meeting—scheduled to take place tonight at 7 p.m. in the middle school's library—comes on the heels of Police Chief John Troxell's recommendation that the school board adopt such an officer.
The school board's Policy Committee continued its research and defined the scope of an SRO last month.
