Weston School Facilities Committee to Discuss Shared Space

During an ongoing facilities study, town officials, Board of Education members and police evaluated the potential non-academic use of space within Hurlbutt Elementary School, while discussing school safety and security in an executive session on Jan. 15.

Discussion included highlights of the proposed new school security standards the State of Connecticut published on Jan. 1 and subsequent changes by the time they are expected to be finalized this summer.
