Weston Sets Schedule For Reopening of Town Buildings
In the interim, town staff will continue to work either at home or in the office at a modified schedule.
WESTON, CT — The Board of Selectmen has unanimously decided to establish a target date of Monday, August 10, for the reopening of municipal buildings to the public.
The news came in a letter to residents from First Selectman Christopher Spaulding.
"This decision was made in consideration of multiple factors, including resident safety, staff safety, and what surrounding towns are doing," Spaulding said.

In the interim, town staff will continue to work either at home or in the office at a modified schedule for offices that require public access by appointment only.
Staff will also monitor best practices from associations and neighboring towns so that the Town is open to refining plans based on data, according to Spaulding.

The Library will continue to provide drive-up services to the general public and at-home services to the home bound, and the Transfer Station will continue to operate Tuesday - Saturday 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
