Weston Weather: Heat, Humidity, Showers and Thunderstorms on Tap

WESTON, CT — Enjoy Monday and Tuesday’s weather because beginning on Wednesday and continuing through Sunday there is a chance for rain and or thunderstorms each day. Already, the National Weather Service has issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for Hartford and Tolland counties saying there may be a few strong thunderstorms with gusty winds Wednesday evening, accompanied by heavy rain.

Also the weather service says it will feel like 100 degrees at times from Thursday through Sunday and a “Heat Advisory” will likely need to be issued for northern Connecticut. No advisories as of yet for southern Connecticut but that will likely change soon. It won’t be as hot as northern Connecticut this week, but still temps in southern Connecticut will be in the upper 80s for most of the week, and a chance for thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Here is the updated forecast for the week for Connecticut:

Monday: Sunshine with temps in the upper 80s.
Tuesday: Sunny with temps in the upper 80s.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, temps in the mid 80s and thunderstorms and possibly heavy rain at times in the afternoon and evening hours.
Thursday: Partly sunny skies temps in the upper 80s on the coast and low to mid 90s inland with a chance of showers.
Friday: Again partly sunny, temps in the upper 80s on the coast and low to mid 90s inland with a chance of showers.
Saturday: Partly sunny skies but showers and thunderstorms are also possible too, temps in the upper 80s to low 90s.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and storms. Temps in the mid 80s.
