1 Dead, 2 Injured In Wethersfield Rollover Wreck

WETHERSFIELD, CT — One man is dead and two other people were injured in a rollover crash in Wethersfield Thursday morning, according to State Police. Miguel Gonzalez, 45, of Hartford, died in the wreck.

Police said that the Hartford Violent Crime Task Force was attempting to stop the car, a BMW 745i, in connection with a suspicious incident involving a gun. Police lost contact with the car which was involved in the crash moments later.

The car was traveling west on Route 287 (Prospect Street) approaching the intersection with Willow Street. While attempting to turn right, the car left the road, rolled over, and hit a utility pole.

The two passengers in the car were ejected. All three people were transported to Hartford Hospital for further treatment.

Gonzalez was later pronounced dead. The other two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
