2 Troopers Injured In I-91 Crash In Wethersfield
A driver rear-ended a state police vehicle, injuring two troopers in a Saturday crash.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Two state troopers were injured when their cruiser was rear-ended by another vehicle on I-91 in Wethersfield, according to The New Haven Register. The crash occurred just before 5 p.m. Saturday near exit 25.
The troopers had stopped to help the driver of a disabled vehicle on the left shoulder of the highway.
While they were there, a separate three-car accident occurred and one of the drivers struck the police car. One trooper suffered moderate, non-life-threatening injuries, and the other suffered minor injuries.
