Big Shakeup In Latest High School Girls Basketball Poll
Four teams improved their ranking and another leaped into the top 10 in the most recent weekly balloting.

CONNECTICUT — Eight of the top 10 teams in last week's girls basketball poll found themselves in different positions in the most recent balloting, with one team vaulting all the way to the No. 6 spot from outside the rankings.
Notre Dame-Fairfield was again a unanimous top choice of all 17 voters, with Newtown maintaining the second spot. Four teams improved their previous ranking, while Wethersfield entered the top 10 by leaping to the sixth position.
Here are the top 10, with last week's ranking in parentheses, as well as all other teams receiving votes.
