Coyote Sighting Reported in Wethersfield

Police issued an alert on Thursday.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Wethersfield police on Thursday sent out an alert about a local coyote sighting.

A resident reported the sighting at the Wilkus Farm open space land on Willow Street between Windmill Hill and Straddle Hill, police said.

"Although attacks on humans are uncommon, be cautious and please be aware if you have children or pets outside at this time," police said.
