Farmington Bank Hosting Shred Day in Wethersfield
Farmington Bank this week announced its 2018 schedule of Shred Days.

Farmington Bank this week announced its 2018 schedule of Shred Days at some branch offices in Connecticut as well as one on Earth Day at Newington High School.
Farmington Bank Shed Days are free and open to the public and provide a secure way for people to dispose of confidential documents.
“Thousands of customers and community members benefit from our Shred Days each year,” said John Patrick, chairman, president and CEO of Farmington Bank. “We’re proud to offer these free events to help protect individuals from identity theft.”

Customers and community members are urged to bring confidential documents like old checks, tax forms, financial statements, medical records, legal documents, monthly bills, receipts, credit card statements or other personal materials.
The first Farmington Bank Shred Day takes place on April 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of the Newington Home and Business Showcase & Earth Day at Newington High School, 605 Willard Avenue.

All other Farmington Bank Shred Days take place at the Bank’s branch offices and run on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. They are:
