MDC Church Street And Nott Street Water Main Replacement Project Begins Next Week

MDC’s contractor, Baltazar Contractors Inc., plans to begin water main replacement in Nott Street starting the week of August 3rd, which is expected to take approximately 1 to 2 months. The contractor then plans to move to Church Street and replace the water main from Garden Street to Silas Deane Highway, which will be followed by pipe jacking under railroad crossings on both roads. There will be some night work and temporary, daytime road closures required for this project. At this time, MDC expects to complete work in the spring of 2021.
