Obituary: Roberta (Preble) Siedsma, 63, Formerly Of Wethersfield

Monday, October 22, 2018 Roberta (Preble) Siedsma formerly of Hamden and Wethersfield, passed away peacefully in Middletown, CT. Robyn was born February 7, 1955 daughter of the late Robert Wales Preble and Ruth Shannon Preble.

She is the beloved Mother of Zachary Siedsma of Manchester. Sister of Cyndi Preble of Guilford and Christopher (Janet) Preble of Albany, OR. She also leaves her dear Aunt Lorraine Lubus of Harwinton and many cousins and nephews. She was predeceased by her formerhusband Neal Siedsma.

Robyn was a 1972 graduate of Hamden High School. She worked as a travel agent for several agencies in the New Haven and Harford areas. Prior to her illness she was employed by Sanditz Travel Management.

During her many years in the industry she enjoyed traveling to many foreign countries and vacation destinations. She particularly enjoyed her many trips to England, along with Greece and Italy. Hawaii and Caribbean Island Cruises were also among her favorites. Of all her travel destinations, Cape Cod was always a special place for her and she visited many times.

Friends are invited to visitation hours on Monday, October 29 from 4 to 6 pm at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St., Guilford. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to National MS Society, 659 Tower Ave., First Floor, Hartford, CT 06112.
